Healthcare
Exmovere Holdings is currently working on two branches of the healthcare sector: remote patient monitoring and automated in-clinic triage. The company is pursuing a joint strategy of developing proprietary new technologies and acquiring existing healthcare service businesses, such as revenue cycle management (RCM) firms and urgent care clinics, that will be able to implement our unique systems over time.
The company controls the world's first and only Bluetooth biosensor wristwatch that uses infrared sensors to detect heart rate without a chest strap, 3-d accelerometers to model human movement, and a variety of metallic sensors to detect skin temperature and skin conductance. The wristwatch, now called the Telepath, transmits these data via computer or cell phone to online data centers, care givers and/or emergency services.
Separately, the company intends to launch a different biosensor wristwatch that not only transmits data, but displays and stores it for long periods of time. The Empath, as we call it, will benefit fitness users, as well as those who are cognitively able to monitor their own vital signs...
According to Datamonitor, the global telehealth market will reach US $8 billion or more by 2012.
Exmovere Holdings Inc. believes that with proper funding in place its sales in this sector will represent 1% of that amount, or $80 Million, by the end of 2014. Exmovere believes that as the market continues to grow exponentially, the Telepath, Empath and future wristwatches will play a key role in consolidating services in the RPM sector.
The company's goals for urgent care clinics and RCM companies are two-fold:
The typical urgent care clinic caters to those without health insurance, those who are under-insured and those who are afraid of immigration enforcement laws. Clinica, as the company intends to brand these acquired businesses, will offer a clean, safe, efficient alternative to public emergency rooms. They will have nationwide prices, quality standards and excellent, multilingual customer service.
The ideal candidate clinic for acquisition by Exmovere Holdings Inc. will be in a US state that allows corporate practice of medicine, will have between $300,000 and $1,000,000 in gross revenue and $150,000 to $500,000 in cash flow. The company intends to acquire the clinics and vend them into subsidiary C-corporations, leaving the original owners with some upfront cash, salaries, shares in our public company, and relief from administrative, legal and malpractice insurance costs.
